P6 Organic Farm Field Trip

The P6 students went to visit an organic farm in Yuen Long.
The visit is part of a project based organic farming.
The students had to sow and plant their own plants, as well as
understand the features of pest control, soil maintenance, etc.
One step to becoming environmentally aware for the youth of Hong Kong!

English Drama Class
Last year the English Drama students worked very hard to practise the scripts and songs. We're hoping that this year we can do the same. English Drama is about using English in a fun and different way to express ourselves. Costumes, songs and dance are all the fun parts of our dramas!
P6 Field Trip to Central
As part of the P6 English Project, the P6 students visited the Central area with Mr. Hill and Miss Wu. They went to Dr. Sun Yan-Set Museum, followed by a tour of Mat Mo Temple, Pottinger st. and Shelly st. We shared a group lunch together.
The students were set tasks to interview foreign tourists in the area. The interviews were more detailed than they completed in P5. The students did a great job and impressed the teachers in their ability to locate and interview people of different nationalities. Having the confidence to approach and meet people in English is useful for practical situations in the future.

Field Trip
The students from P4 and p5 went of a field trip to Stanley. Miss Christine and Miss Zoe set an information search for the students, which involved searching the Stanley area for the answers. The students also had to interview some foreign tourists, and ask them some questions related to Hong Kong.

The field trip was a great success! The students did very well to ask and answer questions in English, as well as to seek out English information in an authentic environment!

Halloween 2010

Last Friday our school enjoyed a Halloween fun day in English.
The Drama Club students performed a fantastic song called "Knock Knock, who are you?"
The whole school also joined in to learn the song!
There were some super scary, evil, beautiful and frightening costumes worn by the kids. Thanks to all the students and parents for getting dressed up!
Miss Lee + P.3 "I Like You"
Songs are something that we enjoy in the classroom. Miss Lee taught her P.3 English class some actions for the song "I like you". Well done!
