The students from P4 and p5 went of a field trip to Stanley. Miss Christine and Miss Zoe set an information search for the students, which involved searching the Stanley area for the answers. The students also had to interview some foreign tourists, and ask them some questions related to Hong Kong. The field trip was a great success! The students did very well to ask and answer questions in English, as well as to seek out English information in an authentic environment!
Last Friday our school enjoyed a Halloween fun day in English. The Drama Club students performed a fantastic song called "Knock Knock, who are you?" The whole school also joined in to learn the song! There were some super scary, evil, beautiful and frightening costumes worn by the kids. Thanks to all the students and parents for getting dressed up!
During our Monday morning assembly the school students learned about the Mid-Autumn Festival. P3 and P4 students Almus, Amy, Yoyo (P3), Yo-yo (P4) and Yan performed a short skit. We ate some mooncakes and set-up some lanterns to engage in the festive spirit.
The English Language Room (Room 103) is a big space for all students to enjoy. You can see the big books, games, home reading and guided reading books at the side of the classroom.
In the middle and at the back are days of the week, months of the year and numbers so you will never forget them!
